What STORY are you repeating over and over in your mind?

Dwelling on a negative thought is like seeing crap floating by you down a river, you pick it up to sniff it, rub it all over you while complaining it smells bad, it’s disgusting and you hate it etc.  Why didn’t you just let the crap float by, move away from it, stay out of that river? You’d smell better, feel better,

What if you had let it pass by?

Thoughts are neutral. They only become problematic when we apply our mental faculties, and drama around it. When you have a scary thought, it is going to make you feel scared but once you change the focus to something more appealing and growth worthy, the fear disappears.

Look at this Diagram. The centre (area 1) is the ONLY thing you have complete control over. You may be able to influence the rest in some way, but ultimately, you have no real control over them. So why wind yourself up trying to change what you can’t or even worrying about it? It’s like trying to walk through a brick wall over and over and you keep bumping your head. Now you are bleeding all over the place, and it hurts like hell, but you’re still doing it.

When the unconscious mind does not get closure it makes shit up. Hence, most of the things we get anxious about are made up. They are excuses why we can’t influence things out of our control. Let it go and get present. Focus on cleaning up your thoughts and everything else will fall into place. Think “ I can do this”, I am awesome, “I will get better”, “how can I help?”, “It’s gonna be ok”, “we will figure this out”

The energy you feel thinking positively is much healthier than the defeated thoughts of “I don’t know”, “nobody cares”, “the world is going to shit”, “I hate this, that or the other”, and so on.
